We were asked to create the brand for new attraction coming to Cape Town, the Cape Wheel. The brief required a new logo incorporating the wheel as a graphic and something very “Cape Town”. Although we knew the iconic Table Mountain has been used countless times for branding we felt it was relevant and highly recognisable, making it easy for visitors to identify the obvious location.
We adapted the well used mountain silhouette merging with the wheel, added in the seagulls (for a touch of Waterfront) and they loved it.
This brand development project required many design elements to be developed, including the wave swish used in stationery and posters, banners, etc. Templates were set up to allow for easy design changes on an ongoing basis.
